Our Material Mission

3D printers can do some amazing things when it comes to manufacturing durable, detailed parts. But a key element to success with 3D printing is what’s inside – the filament itself. Without great material, you won’t get optimal 3D printing and risk losing the intended benefit of the parts you print.

Here at INTAMSYS, we understand this, and that’s why we invest so heavily in material development and testing. Once we certify a new material, we also create a detailed and customized material profile for the printers themselves.

The material profile includes instructions to the machine to control the print speed, extrusion pressure, environment temperature, tip temperature, and everything else needed to print your material of choice successfully. This saves you valuable time that would otherwise be spent dialing in settings, running test prints, and other functions which might delay your time-to-part.
