As a global partner of WorldSkills International, INTAMSYS proudly participated in the Meet the Champions of Excellence event on 23rd February 2024, jointly organized by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the European Commission. The event took place at the headquarters of the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.
The event focused on the value of the vocational training for career development of the young people, attended by 35 EU Champions from different disciplines and 450 young people from across Europe as well as the members and leaders from the European Commission and EESC.
Being the only Additive Manufacturing company at the event, INTAMSYS had the chance to represent the capabilities of 3D Printing on the booth of skill Mechanical Engineering CAD with FUNMAT PRO 310. Together with WorldSkills Champion of Mechanical Engineering CAD, João Teixeira, we demonstrated how 3D printing can benefit future engineers in their daily work.
We had dived into the world of 3D Printing with EESC President Oliver Röpke, Commissioner Nicolas Schmit, and many other visitors who shared their interest and curiosity about the technology.
We also welcomed at our booth Board member Laurence Gates, Director of sponsorship and partnership Alexander Amiri, and Sponsorship and partnership manager Semyon Nerodi-Grechka from WorldSkills International (WSI).
