INTAMSYS, professional 3D Printer manufacturer based out of Shanghai, China has officially launched its latest product, FUNMAT HT, a 3D Printer capable of printing PEEK material. PEEK has been one of the toughest material to 3D Print because of its chemical and physical properties. Very few companies in the world have 3D Printers capable of PEEK 3D Printing. With the launch of FUNMAT HT, INTAMSYS becomes one such company that can do PEEK 3D Printing.
FUNMAT HT features an all-metal nozzle that heats up to 430 degrees centigrade, a high temperature build plate of over 160 degrees centigrade and a controlled chamber temperature. Because of these high-end specifications, FUNMAT HT is capable of 3D Printing PEEK material alongside various other 3D Printing materials like ABS, PLA, ULTEM and so on.

PEEK has a melting point of 343 degrees centigrade and high glass transition point over 143 degrees centigrade. PEEK has become an increasingly popular material to 3D Print with, as it displays high mechanical strength, toughness, flexibility, chemical and radiation resistance as well as self-extinguishing properties. Because of all these characteristics, PEEK became a very appealing material for a wide range of applications like electronics, aerospace, automotive, mechanical and medical parts.
